Description
The Brandenburg State Road Administration (LS) as an operational part of the Brandenburg state road construction administration looks after around 8,300 km of federal and state roads in the state of Brandenburg. In the decades after reunification, the focus of his work and that of his predecessor organizations was initially on the extensive modernization of both networks. Since the mid-2010s, there has been an increasing shift to a phase in which the focus is on securing the new inventory and the associated conservation tasks. A holistic approach is an essential goal for the future maintenance of road infrastructure.
The focus is on safety, availability and performance, which largely determine the value of routes and networks. In addition, efficient and economical business management is important. Furthermore, operation and maintenance should be particularly sustainable. This also applies to the ecologically and climatically valuable elements of the road infrastructure, such as avenues and rows of trees in the state of Brandenburg.

We are looking for an IT application that enables processes to be processed efficiently and intuitively and that allows the many challenges involved to be implemented in an innovative form. We would be happy to provide you with additional details about the requirements, expectations and challenges.
Desired result
In the current project phase, the challenge serves to explore possible products (IT applications) that fully or partially meet the requirements described and could fully or partially satisfy the expectations expressed for such a system, including those described in perspective.
It is currently assumed that no system available on the market can fully meet all of the requirements described. However, initial research shows that there are basically products available that could form a good basis and would need to be adapted accordingly. However, the need for adjustment is currently considered to be significant.The first step would be to assess whether adapting your own product to meet the requirements and expectations described could actually be technically and economically implemented. A product description including the verification of your own product against the described requirements and expectations as part of participation in the challenge should help you to be able to estimate the required scope of adaptation and the associated effort much more precisely. Based on this information, both the required budget and the project-specific effort should be able to be calculated much better than is possible based on the current state of knowledge.
